Overview

 The JVC GY-HC500U is a UHD 4K camcorder designed for both traditional and IP workflows. It features a 1" CMOS sensor and an integrated 20x optical zoom lens, with the capability to achieve up to 40x digital zoom. The camcorder supports recording in UHD, HD, and SD, with options for recording SD as a proxy. It captures up to 30p on built-in media card slots or up to 60/50p with an optional SSD. HDR recording is supported in HLG or JLog1 (10-bit).

• 10-bit ProRes 422: 4K resolution at 50/60p, recorded to M.2 SSD (requires optional caddy)
